When the rhythm of Rock and Roll crossed the Mexican border in 1955 it wasn't through young bands but by experienced musicians used to playing anything new coming from the other side of the Rio Grande. In the case of Rock and Roll this gave birth to various ways of understanding it and playing it: some of them different to the original and others loyal to it...but with a latin flavour! This disc tries to re-unite these artists, who in the first years of Rock and Roll created new songs and covers, re-creating the new rhythms coming from the north.
